THE REPRESENTATIVE
There are almost 100 different languages in Ethiopia, not to mention all the dialects. Obviously a surgeon is not supposed to talk with the patients, since all as one of the mission societies I have been working with didn’t bother to spent money on me for language courses. All the priests have one year at language school. Of course their working tool is the tongue – not the scalpel!
