LAUNDRY
Six employees run the laundry - a hard and never ending work. Two washing machines make a great help, but still the very dirty linen and clothe has to be boiled in the old fashioned way. The washing machines do not heat the water sufficiently and only boiling kills the bedbugs, lice and fleas.
The laundry is essential for the operating theatre activities. Without clean drapes and gowns the work comes to a standstill. Therefore a separate water supply has been arranged to the laundry so we do not often face problems with lack of clean clothes as before.
